The Coffee Den

Not all students learn best in a traditional classroom setting. This innovative project aims to use the setting of a simulated coffee shop to teach hospitality skills to students. Building upon the theme of the coffee shop, other core subjects like maths and english can be aligned to practical workplace situations, in turn making the learning more relevant and interesting.  

I.T. in the Community

Old computers destined for land fills were given a new life and new purpose thanks to the efforts of IT students at Glenmore Park High and their business supporters.

Using Linux software the computers were able to meet the robust performance requirements and zero cost budget of the local neighbour centres...
